COLE-1 is the first in my line of home-brew single board computers (SBCs). It’s built around a 65C02 CPU clocked at 4 MHz and features:

  • 32K of RAM,
  • 32K of EEPROM,
  • 65C22S VIA driving two 8-bit expansion ports
  • 68B50 ACIA providing a TTL-level serial port running at 115.2k bps.

All of the design work, including the schematic and PC board layout, were done in KiCad. The ROM is written in pure assembly and built using ca65.
